Key Responsibilities
- Management of two direct reports.
- Managing and mentoring AR team on a regular basis, providing leadership and mentoring.
- Ensuring all month-end processes are completed to deadlines for Accounts Receivable function and commercial reporting.
- Responsibility for producing Monthly Management reporting accurately and on time.
- Full reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts on a monthly basis.
- Partnering with key stakeholders in commercial and resolving any queries in a timely manner.
- Ad hoc reporting on AR and Sales where required.
- Design and build new Sales reports to be rolled out to the business to support further insight into sales and AR.
- Lead the migration of sales reporting from Excel to the BI tool.
- Manage marketing spending and develop control and performance reporting.
- Manage and assess credit risk and credit limit setting.
- Support the development and roll out of a new BI tool.
- Reporting and monitoring of KPIs & volume on a weekly basis.
- Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of project update and performance reporting packs for the Board.
- Develop and closely control AR dispute resolution with a particular focus on US AR.
- Manage US Sales Tax registrations and State filings.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Strong Accounts Receivable management and Credit experience.
- At least two years’ experience in a similar management role.
- Commercial experience of supporting performance of sales teams ideal as well as highly skilled with strong accounting experience.
- Manufacturing/FMCG/Food experience.
- Sage X3 (Highly desirable) and knowledge of analytical tools (i.e. SEI, Power BI etc.).
- Advanced Excel: Proficiency in complex modelling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs/Macros is a standard baseline.
