We are a reputable private education institution in Singapore offering GCE O-Level and A-Level programmes. To support our growing student body, we are seeking a dedicated and responsible Chinese Language Teacher who is also capable of taking on student management and pastoral responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching Responsibilities
    • Teach Chinese Language at GCE O-Level and/or A-Level.
    • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments and examinations.
    • Monitor students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback and academic guidance.
    • Support students in improving language proficiency, critical thinking and examination skills.
  • Student Management Responsibilities
    • Provide student management and pastoral care support, including attendance monitoring, discipline and wellbeing.
    • Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ academic performance, behaviour and progress.
    • Guide students in adapting to school life in Singapore and developing positive learning habits.
    • Work closely with counsellors, academic teams and management to support students’ holistic development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Chinese Language, Education, or related disciplines.
  • Relevant teaching experience in O-Level / A-Level Chinese is an advantage.
  • Hardworking, responsible, and committed to student development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a school team.
  • Familiarity with the Singapore education context is preferred.
