We are looking for a motivated and reliable Chef de Partie to join our catering team at Rock Barracks. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food for service personnel. You will be part of a supportive kitchen team delivering daily meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.

Shift Patterns

  • Weekdays – Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
  • Weekdays – Late Shift: 10:30 – 18:30
  • Weekends (1 in 4 weekends) – 09:00 – 17:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals to required service and Company standards.
  • Take responsibility for your section, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Support the Head Chef and senior team with daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Assist with stock control, food rotation, and allergen management.
  • Work effectively as part of the team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or equivalent) preferred.
  • Culinary qualifications desirable (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible and reliable with the ability to work early and late shifts.
  • Passion for delivering quality food and service.
