Overview

Senior Sales Executive – The role at Harlequins FC.

This position focuses on revenue generation across hospitality for non-match day meetings and events at The Twickenham Stoop (Harlequins RFC).

Hybrid working is available (1 day remote and 4 days on-site).

The role works with the Head of Conference and Events Sales to identify, manage, and grow key accounts across market segments and venue agencies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the wider Harlequins team to maximise meetings and events revenue at the stadium through thorough process, innovative thinking, and a growth mindset.
  • Own diary management, key account management, and proactive sales and marketing activity.
  • Act as the Lead Sales Manager in the absence of the Head of Conference & Events Sales.
  • Own key conference and events accounts, including corporate and major conference agents.
  • Target specific market segments through sales and marketing activities to secure sales via face-to-face, telephone, written, direct mail, and client events.
  • Ensure clear communication of account needs and activity aligned with the venue\'s business objectives.
  • Deliver monthly revenue and activity reports as specified by the Head of Conference & Events Sales.
  • Represent the venue at networking events as required.
  • Lead familiarisation tours for key conference agents to ensure attendees are decision-makers.
  • Monitor competitor activities including promotions and pricing initiatives.
  • Lead achievement of annual budget targets and personal new business targets (client visits, emails, calls).
  • Manage and deliver account plans for key accounts.
  • Produce accurate sales and forecast reports upon request.
  • Contribute to the Sales & Marketing plan in conjunction with the Head of Conference & Events Sales; monitor and adjust as needed.
