We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our amazing Grazing team to work at one of our sites. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, supporting chefs and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
- Receiving and storing deliveries properly
- Ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene standards are followed
- Keeping storage areas clean and organised
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene (training provided if needed)
