Company Description: Equip Outdoor Technologies UK Ltd based in Alfreton, Derbyshire specialise in the design and marketing of technical outdoor clothing and equipment. Our experienced and enthusiastic team develop innovative designs, manufactured to the highest standard and brought to market throughout the world. Equip Outdoor Technologies own and operate two leading aspirational outdoor brands, Rab and Lowe Alpine. Our team is based at our Head Office just outside The Peak District National Park off jct28 of the M1 corridor.

Position: Great opportunity to join our Team as Product Marketing Coordinator! The successful candidate will work alongside the Product Marketing Manager to deliver a strong suite of tools to support the B2B sales launch and sell-in efforts. Working with the Product Marketing Manager, you will also develop the toolbox for the marketing team to successfully deliver B2B and B2C go-to-market strategies for all new and existing products, categories and collections to ensure their successful launch and continued sell-in/sell-through across all our markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Product Team in the delivery of content at season launch
  • Assist with creation and data entry of product specs & attributes
  • Work with sales team to ensure all new and existing products have appropriate sales tools including training support
  • Ensure clarity of product information across all product and sales materials
  • Work with the Creative Marketing Team, external agencies and partners, ensure all assets required for product launch are delivered on brief and on time
  • Ensure the business and marketing critical paths are followed and updated as required
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices of product and brand marketing
  • Liaise between the product team, athletes, ambassadors, and partner organisations enabling new products to be tested and evidenced and assets collected that may then be used in future product development and marketing materials
  • Conduct product and competitor research to support the GTM process

Requirements:

  • A product evangelist with relevant and demonstrable marketing experience in either product and/or brand marketing
  • Experience managing complex timelines across multiple products and/or projects
  • Ability to tell creative, compelling, feature based stories that solve customers’ needs
  • A passion for the outdoors and a real understanding of the needs of our different customer groups (including climbers, mountaineers, backpackers, trekkers, skiers and adventure travellers)
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Good forward planning and strategic thinking abilities
  • Current, full driving licence
  • Competent in MS Office suite including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels
  • Relevant degree in Marketing or Advertising
  • Experience within the outdoor industry
