Equinox Kombucha is hiring an experienced Technical Manager to lead food safety, quality, compliance and sustainability at our BRCGS AA-grade kombucha brewery. We are a fast-growing, B Corp certified FMCG drinks brand, and this role offers real ownership of technical systems, audits and food safety culture.
Location: West Yorkshire
Contract: Full-time
Working pattern: On-site with some Hybrid as required

Key Responsibilities
- Lead BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety compliance (AA / AA+), including unannounced audits
- Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Manage HACCP, PRPs, allergen management, food defence and food fraud
- Lead internal audits, non‑conformance management and CAPA closure
- Act as site lead for external audits, customers and regulatory authorities
- Manage Health & Safety compliance within a manufacturing environment
- Own B Corp certification and sustainability reporting
- Support supplier approval, specifications and raw material risk assessment
- Champion food safety culture and continuous improvement
About You
- Experience in a Technical or Quality Management role within food or beverage manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety standards (AA / AA+ preferred)
- Confident leading audits and regulatory inspections
- Solid understanding of HACCP and UK Health & Safety requirements
- Practical, organised and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced FMCG environment
- A genuine team player that can lead a culture of quality standards in a small business
