Imagine kick starting your career as a Graduate Operations & Marketing Assistant with a business aiming to grow significantly year on year for the foreseeable future. Imagine getting your foot in the door early, and growing into a bigger role as the business expands.
This role is primarily operations coordination with some marketing support and client artwork design.
About Equinox Group: Equinox Group is a quality-focused print and print fulfilment partner, supplying businesses across Dorset and the wider UK. We advise customers on the right print specification, create and check artwork files, coordinate and fulfil print projects and deliver reliably. We're practical, organised and we take pride in making print straightforward for our clients and something they are genuinely proud of. We're currently a small team of two and this position will be our next key team member. You'll be closely involved in delivering our vision and supporting the growth of the business.
The Role: We're looking for a Graduate Operations & Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day running of customer jobs, from enquiry through to dispatch. This is a hands-on coordination role, not an in-house print production role. The role is office-based to ensure you learn our systems, processes and quality standards. In the short term, this will be based from our home office. As the business grows, we plan to move into a dedicated office close to our current base in Wimborne. This role is initially temporary, with payroll processed through our recruitment partner, with a view for the role to become permanent. We're looking for someone who wants to build a career with a strong local business, not a short-term role.
You will benefit from full training and support to succeed in the role, and real opportunity to grow as Equinox expands. The next few years will be pivotal for the business and for the right person, this is a chance to help shape how we operate, contribute ideas, and have a voice as we build the next stage of Equinox.
What you'll be doing as Equinox's Graduate Operations & Marketing Assistant:
- Communicating with clients by email and phone, gathering files and information, and providing clear updates
- Checking artwork files (size, bleed, resolution, colour profile), escalating anything complex
- Coordinating with suppliers, confirming lead times and chasing deliveries
- Quality checking orders, packing, labelling and supporting dispatch
- Supporting with artwork design for client projects
- Support with marketing activity for Equinox and clients, including social media support
- Other operational support as needed, including keeping the CRM up to date and occasional support with signage installs
What we're looking for in Equinox's Graduate Operations & Marketing Assistant:
- Interest in operations, coordination, print, marketing or design
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with clients by email and phone
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise workflow
- Comfortable learning new systems and following checklists / processes
For more information, apply to this Graduate Operations & Marketing Assistant advert and we'll be in contact to discuss the opportunity in more detail. Abbey will be reviewing applications week commencing 3rd August.
