Overview
Equinox Group is a high growth collective of lifestyle brands. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for members and guests in a luxury facility.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests
- Maintain a presentable sidewalk entrance and lobby, ensuring accessibility and cleanliness
- Clean locker rooms and stock locker room consumables as needed
- Clean and organize storage areas, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms
- Check and maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor and replenish as required
- Provide maintenance for all equipment
- Receive and store deliveries in designated areas
- Assist with special events and stock taking as necessary
- Escalate issues and equipment fixtures to the Maintenance Manager
- Prepare, launder, and hand towels and member clothing through Laundry and Valet services
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the following experience and skills:
- Must be able to work at 5am for the opening shift
- Understand what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
- Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is preferred
- Willingness to service athletic equipment and experience with cleaning products and hand tools
- Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
- Flexible availability from Monday to Saturday
