CFD engineers use software platforms (6Sigma) to create digital representations of real-world problems. Responsibilities include:
- Simulations of single and multi-storey complex data centres
- CFD Modelling of high- and low-density cabinets, under-floor ventilation systems, racks, servers, PDU's, CRAC's, fans and diffusers
- Liaise with the Mechanical and PH Engineers to ensure an integrated solution is adopted
- Contribute to project and client meetings
- Promote machine learning and automation wherever possible
You'll enjoy working on large scale (i.e. 5,000 servers or 10,000 square feet) and use your passion for Building Physics and CFD to your full potential while working on global projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- CFD knowledge ideally Cadence Reality DC (previously Future Facilities)
- Reporting knowledge (Excel, desired Power-Bi, ideally: Tableau)
