We are looking for an experienced Strategic Talent Advisor to support the growth of our global data centre development and capital delivery organisation.

This is a senior talent advisory role focused on identifying, engaging and securing exceptional senior level professionals across our global capital project delivery teams, including design, construction and cost management. The Strategic Talent Advisor will work closely with senior business leaders to understand future capability requirements, provide insight into global talent markets and develop effective sourcing and workforce strategies.

The role extends beyond managing individual vacancies. The successful candidate will operate as a trusted strategic partner, helping leaders make informed decisions about whether critical capabilities should be built internally, borrowed through flexible workforce solutions, bought through external recruitment or deployed in alternative locations.

Combining deep talent acquisition expertise, commercial judgement and market intelligence, the Strategic Talent Advisor will deliver sustainable talent pipelines while providing an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring leaders.

Key responsibilities

Strategic talent advisory

  • Partner with senior leaders across global operations, design, construction and energy functions to understand business priorities, project portfolios and future capability.

  • Lead structured talent discussions that help leaders evaluate internal mobility, external recruitment, contingent workforce and geographic location options.

  • Advise hiring leaders on talent strategies that balance speed, quality, cost, and long-term workforce sustainability.

  • Act as a trusted advisor during role intake, challenging assumptions and translating business requirements into clear and deliverable talent strategies.

  • Provide regular insight into talent availability, competitor activity, market conditions and location-specific opportunities or constraints.

  • Develop recruitment strategies for complex, business-critical and hard-to-fill Senior Manager and Director-level positions.

Global recruitment delivery

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior roles across the global design and construction team, including, but not limited to, data centre design, cost/commercial management, construction project management and commissioning.

  • Conduct credible, insight-led conversations and assess candidates against technical capability, leadership requirements, commercial impact and organisational fit.

  • Manage multiple senior-level searches across different countries, markets and time zones.

Talent intelligence and strategy

  • Deliver market analysis, talent mapping and competitor benchmarking.

  • Advise on talent availability across key global markets.

  • Provide recommendations on location strategy, workforce planning and sourcing approaches.

  • Use data to inform hiring and organisational growth decisions.

Candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Deliver a high-touch experience for senior candidates and hiring leaders.

  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation and employer brand.

  • Maintain proactive communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the hiring process.

  • Ensure recruitment processes are fair, inclusive and efficient.
