Job Summary
We are looking for an Engineer who is a fully qualified electrician or has a full, formal electrical apprenticeship for our installation projects.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the project supervisor, carry out electrical installation activities as scheduled by the suite build project manager.
- Install cages, commando sockets, distribution boards, fibre trays, ladder racks, and cabinets.
- Infrastructure installs include Whalebone cable management, fibre tray systems, carrier ladder rack, AC/DC power, security trays, and cage mesh.
Communication
- Must have excellent customer communication skills, be able to work effectively with customers.
Technical
- Support the engineering and operations teams on infrastructure issues.
- Review and develop technical facility standards related to suite build activities.
- Maintain compliance with all EHS policies and permit to work systems.
- Support the Technical Manager in developing safe systems of work.
Quality
- Ensure adherence to operational and technical procedures per the Quality Management System.
- Escalate issues to the UK Facilities Manager as needed.
Qualifications
- Full, formal electrical apprenticeship
- Good customer and leadership skills
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Relevant job-related experience
- Full UK driving license
- Gold Card
- PC literate
- 18th Edition, test, and inspection training
