We are seeking an interim Legal Counsel specializing in construction to support Equinix’s data centre development projects across the EMEA region for a period of 6 months. Advise on all legal and contractual aspects of the development and construction of data centres, including contract negotiation, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Support major infrastructure projects, focusing on construction contracts and project delivery. Provide clear, commercial, and practical legal advice to stakeholders across EMEA. Identify legal risks and propose pragmatic solutions to enable business growth. Contribute to creation and continuous improvement of legal processes, playbooks and templates. Manage external counsel. Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE, specializing in construction law. Experience in private practice, in-house, or both. Strong expertise in construction contracts and infrastructure projects. Experience in the data centre industry is preferred but not essential. Fluent English. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
