Role Summary

To lead in the day to day operation of debt recovery & reconstructions function, utilising available resources in order to deliver a quality service to customers in line with FCA regulations specifically around CASS rules (Client Assets). The function is to ensure accurate record keeping, up to date procedures and flow maps, precise intra day and end of day client money funding calculations, exercising Lean consumption.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement changes to the way in which the team operates to improve service quality and process efficiency, supporting line management in the implementation of centrally driven changes when required.
  • Monitor individual staff and team performance, recommending actions to resolve problems in order to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
  • When required provide project support ensuring own deliverables are on time and to specification.
  • Minimise time and effort delivering exactly what customer wants doing away with waste, reviewing end to end processes enhancing where possible.
  • Objectively assess the performance of others in accordance with the process, assessing capabilities and potential.
  • Help others to become familiar with new tasks.
  • Commit time and effort to coach others in new processes or techniques.
  • Provide input to business strategies taking into account commercial business requirements as well as related risks and controls.

  • This role must be IAQ qualified, and is subject to FCA Threshold competency regime, this qualification must be obtained within 2 years of the appointment.
