Role Summary
The Pension Administrator role is based at our Liverpool office. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, with opportunities to learn new skills and progress within the company.
Full training will be provided onsite for the first 6 weeks. You will be supported by an experienced employee and may have the opportunity to work from home after training.
Business Function
MyCSP is one of the UK’s leading pension administrators and efficient providers of outsourced services to public and private sector organizations. Our largest client is the Civil Service Pension scheme, with over 1.5 million members and 340 employers.
MyCSP is a mutual joint venture between employee partners, who own 25% of the company, and our private sector partner, Paymaster. We have an Employee Partnership Council with decision-making rights and a Director at Board level representing employee partners.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Administer pension awards according to Service Level Agreements
- Check the integrity of customer data
- Resolve customer inquiries (oral and written) based on knowledge of customer requirements
- Draft non-standard correspondence in response to customer inquiries
- Input customer details and access customer information
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- GCSE grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent in English and Maths
- Good written and communication skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- PC literacy
- Residency in the UK for at least 5 years
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Awareness of pension scheme rules and legislation (not essential)
- Previous experience in a financial/pensions environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
