The Consultant delivers client engagements across implementation, change and ongoing service improvement. The role works with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, configure solutions and deliver agreed outcomes. The role supports project planning, stakeholder communication, documentation and issue resolution, while sharing knowledge, identifying delivery risks and ensuring work meets quality, time and compliance requirements.
What you will do:
- Help deliver and support technology that underpins the full lending lifecycle, from product configuration and financial calculations through to customer servicing, payments and collections.
- Deliver consultancy activities across implementation, configuration, testing and go-live support.
- Gather and document business requirements, process flows and functional decisions.
- Work with clients to plan delivery activities, track progress and manage agreed actions.
- Provide product and process guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies and escalate where necessary.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and handover materials.
- Support user acceptance testing, defect resolution and deployment readiness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methods, templates and knowledge assets.
What we are looking for from you:
- Experience or knowledge of the finance or lending industry, with an understanding of the critical role IT systems play in managing financial products and customer journeys.
- Experience delivering consulting, implementation or client-facing project work.
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into clear documentation and actions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with clients, delivery teams and business stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities across multiple activities.
- Experience supporting testing, issue resolution and implementation activities.
- Competence in producing accurate documentation and reports.
- Understanding of project delivery controls, risk management and change processes.
- Relevant sector, product or technical knowledge.
