Oaklands House is a well-established, 38-bedded nursing care home in Longsight, Manchester. We provide specialised care and accommodation for adults aged 18-65 and those 65 and over. Our services support a diverse range of needs, including enduring mental health challenges, drug and alcohol-related issues, degenerative disorders, Dementia, and mental health conditions. We pride ourselves on creating a caring and inclusive environment that empowers our residents to thrive and live their life, their way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the skills of the nursing team through clinical supervision, appraisal, and mentoring.
  • Undertake staff reviews, team meetings, and effective inductions.
  • Plan, direct, and deliver high-quality person-centred care, whilst promoting and maintaining high nursing standards.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacist to ensure the team’s medicine management is to the highest standards.
  • Participate actively in the development of the Hospital.
  • Ensure compliance within all clinical documentation.
  • Participate on the on-call rota.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

£45,000-£48,000 per annum (dependent on experience) 40 hours per week
