Oaklands House is a well-established, 38-bedded nursing care home in Longsight, Manchester. We provide specialised care and accommodation for adults aged 18-65 and those 65 and over. Our services support a diverse range of needs, including enduring mental health challenges, drug and alcohol-related issues, degenerative disorders, Dementia, and mental health conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop the skills of the nursing team through clinical supervision, appraisal, and mentoring.
- Undertake staff reviews, team meetings, and effective inductions.
- Plan, direct, and deliver high-quality person-centred care, whilst promoting and maintaining high nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacist to ensure the team’s medicine management is to the highest standards.
- Participate actively in the development of the Hospital.
- Ensure compliance within all clinical documentation.
- Participate on the on-call rota.
