Talent Acquisition Manager in Wilmslow

Wilmslow Full-Time On-site
Equilibrium Healthcare Limited

Equilibrium Healthcare is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment and onboarding across the organisation.

This is a senior, hands-on in-house recruitment role covering workforce planning, direct sourcing, candidate screening, recruitment performance and onboarding. You will work closely with senior leaders and service managers to recruit the people the organisation needs now and as it grows.

The role is not limited to support worker and nursing recruitment. You will recruit across the full organisation, including Registered Managers, senior leaders, corporate roles, psychologists, occupational therapists, doctors and other specialist or hard-to-fill appointments.

The Role

  • Lead recruitment across EHC services and departments.
  • Work with managers and senior leaders to identify current and future vacancies.
  • Develop targeted campaigns and build pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Source and approach candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks and direct search.
  • Call and screen candidates to assess experience, motivation and suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews, support hiring decisions and manage offers.
  • Manage vacancies through pre-employment checks, onboarding and confirmed start date.
  • Produce recruitment reports and use data to improve performance and candidate experience.
  • Manage recruitment agencies, job-board suppliers and associated spend.
  • Support recruitment for new services and planned organisational growth.

About You

You will have:

  • Strong in-house recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
  • Recruitment experience within health, social care or a similar regulated environment.
  • Experience recruiting senior, specialist or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Practical direct-sourcing and headhunting experience.
  • Experience managing recruitment through to successful onboarding.
  • Knowledge of safer recruitment and pre-employment compliance.

You will also be:

  • Comfortable advising senior leaders and challenging constructively where required.
  • Confident speaking with candidates at all levels.
  • Highly organised and able to manage several vacancies at once.
  • Data-driven, commercially aware and focused on results.
  • A strong communicator with good recruitment-system and IT skills.
  • Committed to providing a professional and responsive candidate experience.

What Makes This Role Different?

This is broader than a typical Internal Recruiter role. You will help shape workforce plans, advise leaders, build sustainable talent pipelines and lead recruitment across roles ranging from frontline care to senior leadership and specialist clinicians.

Success will be measured through the quality of appointments, time to hire, candidate conversion, onboarding completion, early retention, direct sourcing and recruitment cost control.

Salary and Benefits

  • Β£33,000–£37,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Up to 15% structured performance bonus linked to agreed recruitment objectives.
  • Hybrid working from Wilmslow office. Travel to EHC sites as required.
  • Birthday day off.
  • Loyalty Reward Programme.
  • Free onsite parking.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Career progression opportunities within Equilibrium Healthcare.
