We are looking for a Vice President, Project Manager to join us in London. Our Project Managers drive the delivery of EquiLend platform development and client implementation projects. They support projects across our global business, working closely with technology, operations, product, business and client‑facing teams. This is a senior project management role for someone who can lead complex fintech software delivery with structure, pace and clear governance. You will manage projects through the software development lifecycle, bring visibility to risks, dependencies and decisions, and help ensure delivery teams and stakeholders stay aligned from planning through to release. The work will support EquiLend’s ability to deliver high‑quality solutions across the securities finance ecosystem, including Trading, Post‑Trade, Data & Analytics, RegTech and Platform Solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the planning, governance and delivery of software projects, ensuring scope, milestones, actions, risks and dependencies are clearly defined and actively managed.
  • Own project plans, trackers, dashboards, status reports and governance materials that provide clear visibility for project teams, senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Drive delivery discipline across the software development lifecycle, partnering with technology, product, operations and business teams to align activity with project goals.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks and issues, escalating concerns early and supporting practical decisions to keep delivery on track.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to manage expectations through clear, timely and structured communication.
  • Facilitate project meetings, governance forums, readiness reviews and stakeholder updates, ensuring actions and decisions are followed through.
  • Coordinate release planning and implementation activity, ensuring readiness, communication, testing, operational impact and client considerations are understood.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, client stakeholders and project governance forums.
  • Support adherence to PMO delivery standards, governance requirements and project management frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project tracking, reporting, delivery consistency and ways of working as project demand increases across regions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years’ experience in project management, software delivery, PMO delivery or a comparable role, ideally within fintech, financial services technology or capital markets.
  • Practical experience managing software projects through the software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, release and post‑implementation activity.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, milestone tracking, governance, risk management, issue management and dependency management.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional delivery across technology, product, operations, business and client‑facing teams.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external clients, including providing project updates, managing expectations and escalating risks constructively.
  • Strong working knowledge of project reporting, dashboards, project plans and governance materials, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage several projects, workstreams and priorities in parallel while maintaining clear structure and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of release planning, implementation coordination, production readiness or change delivery within a software environment.
  • Familiarity with investment banking, securities lending, capital markets or financial technology is preferred.
  • PMP certification would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Why EquiLend?

  • Be recognised for your contribution through a discretionary annual cash bonus, linked to individual and company performance.
  • Work flexibly with up to 100 remote working days per calendar year.
  • Take time to recharge with generous annual leave, plus public holidays.
  • Access group life assurance and income protection, supporting you and your dependents.
  • Private health and dental insurance, available from your first day (optional).
  • Save for the future through a company pension contribution of 7.5%, when you contribute a minimum of 1.5%.
