About The Role
We are looking for a Vice President, Account Manager to join us in London. This role sits at the centre of how we grow and deepen strategic relationships across our European enterprise client base, helping clients realise greater value from our trading, post-trade, regtech, data and analytics, and platform capabilities. This is an important commercial role for someone who understands the securities finance market space and can engage credibly with sophisticated financial institutions. You will manage a portfolio of enterprise clients, leading renewals, identifying expansion opportunities and supporting long-term revenue growth. The role is well suited to someone with strong securities finance knowledge who may come from a client-facing, relationship management or commercially minded market role. You do not need to have come from a traditional quota-carrying sales background, but you will need to be comfortable operating in a revenue-accountable environment, managing structured commercial processes and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across continental Europe.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of a portfolio of enterprise financial institution clients, with accountability for renewals, relationship development and revenue expansion.
- Drive growth through renewals, upsell, cross-sell and whitespace opportunities across our solutions suite.
- Lead and support complex multi-product commercial engagements from opportunity identification through to contract execution, partnering with senior sales leaders and internal stakeholders where appropriate.
- Build structured account plans aligned to client strategy, renewal milestones, product adoption opportunities and long-term client value.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders across client organisations.
- Position us as a strategic partner by linking client priorities to our trading, post-trade, regtech, data and analytics, and platform capabilities.
- Expand product adoption across front office, operations, technology, compliance and senior management teams within client organisations.
- Manage renewal processes end to end, protecting recurring revenue while identifying incremental growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility and forecasting inputs in line with EMEA commercial governance.
- Partner closely with product, client success, legal and senior leadership teams to deliver joined-up and well-governed commercial outcomes.
- Participate in executive business reviews, connecting client outcomes with our product roadmap and broader value proposition.
- Represent us at industry events, client forums and market engagements across EMEA, with a particular focus on continental Europe.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual and internal compliance requirements at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of relevant commercial experience within securities finance or a closely related financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of securities finance markets and a clear understanding of the market structure, client landscape and commercial drivers across the sector.
- Ability to speak confidently with clients about market practices and adjacent areas such as trading, post-trade operations, market infrastructure, regulation and workflow efficiency.
- Experience in client-facing, relationship-led or commercial roles and can engage credibly with senior stakeholders in large, regulated financial institutions.
- Demonstrate a strong commercial mindset and can identify growth opportunities, articulate value clearly and contribute to pricing and contract discussions.
- Comfortable supporting complex, consultative and multi-stakeholder commercial processes with long sales or renewal cycles.
- Can operate effectively in a revenue-accountable environment and understand renewals, expansion and long-term client value creation.
- Strong financial literacy and a disciplined approach to account planning, forecasting and revenue tracking.
- Collaborate well across global, matrixed organisations and can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to speak at least one other European language as a requirement, to a professional working capacity (such as German or French).
- You communicate clearly, build trust quickly and bring a thoughtful, structured approach to stakeholder management.
