International retail business with a strong presence is looking for an experienced Transactional Finance Manager to lead their day-to-day finance operations and ensure robust financial controls across the business.
As Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all transactional finance activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will lead a team covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash, playing a key role in supporting the wider finance function and the operational needs of the retail business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the end-to-end transactional finance function, including AP, AR, cash, and payroll
- Lead, develop, and motivate the transactional finance team, setting clear objectives and performance standards
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts
- Oversee bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and daily cash controls
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Support month-end close by ensuring transactional data is accurate and complete
- Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and scalability
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Proven experience in a transactional finance management role, ideally within a retail or other consumer goods environment
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management
- Experience managing and developing finance teams
- Experience with ERP or finance systems (retail systems experience is a plus)
