Equifind is partnering with a fast-growing private credit firm in Mayfair to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant ahead of an upcoming fund launch.

The firm offers hybrid working, allowing up to 2 days working from home per week.

Sitting within the finance and investment function, the role offers direct exposure to senior leadership, working closely with the CFO, CIO, and the wider investment team.

This is a broad, commercially oriented position covering fund control, investor reporting, credit analysis and modelling, deal structuring, and transaction support.

With AI and technology automating more of the routine side of finance, the firm is looking for a commercially minded professional who can go beyond the numbers – contributing to investment discussions and adding real value across fund operations and deal strategy.

Key responsibilities include

  • Overseeing fund administrators and outsourced advisors
  • Responsible for overseeing the build out and delivery of efficient and robust reporting
  • Managing the fund budgeting and cash forecasting process, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Oversight and management of fund and advisor payments, invoices and expenses as well as oversight of financing.
  • Supporting investment teams in new transactions and the onboarding of new investments
  • Providing input to the operational and financial initiatives within portfolio and on-going assessment of portfolio valuations
  • Contribute to key day-to-day initiatives alongside operational team

  • Qualified accounting qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar fund reporting role.
  • Experience of working within alternative asset management, or fund administration.
