Equifind are supporting a high-growth VC Fund based in London’s Soho, to recruit a Portfolio Manager. Founded in the early 2000s, this London-based venture capital firm backs some of the UK’s most innovative tech start-ups, supporting founders as they scale and grow. On the brink of launching their newest and biggest fund to date, they are in growth mode and looking for someone with a similar mindset.
This individual will be responsible for monitoring the financial and operational performance of investments, providing strategic support to founders, and ensuring value creation across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with portfolio company leadership on fundraising, financial planning, and operational improvements.
- Monitor financial performance, key metrics, and milestones of portfolio companies. Provide ongoing support to management teams.
- Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and business performance; prepare internal reports for the investment team and LPs.
- Identify potential risks within the portfolio and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist in optimising capital allocation, implementing growth strategies, and leveraging the firm’s network for business development.
- Support quarterly reporting, LP communications, and investor updates.
- Collaborate with the investment team on due diligence, market research, and post-investment monitoring.
- Base salary of £100-120,000.
