Equifind are supporting a global asset management group with the appointment of an Interim Fund Operations Manager to help support the business through a period of change and transformation. The role will oversee a broad range of fund operations activities across multiple jurisdictions, including fund administration, deal and tax structuring, valuations, and finance operations. Working closely with the investment, finance, and corporate teams, you'll help ensure strong governance, efficient processes, and smooth day-to-day operational delivery. A key part of the assignment will be supporting the transition from the current fund administrator to a new provider, helping to manage the migration process and minimise disruption to the wider business. This is an initial contract of up to 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global fund operations for the infrastructure platform, ensuring high‑quality execution across all operational, financial, and administrative activities.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of fund operations, including capital activity, investor reporting, liquidity management, and governance processes.
- Drive operational best practice, process optimisation, and scalability across the platform.
- Partner with investment teams to support deal structuring, execution, and post‑transaction integration.
- Oversee tax structuring for new investments and fund vehicles, coordinating with internal tax teams and external advisors.
- Lead the valuation process for infrastructure assets and fund portfolios, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to valuation policies.
- Collaborate with investment and asset management teams to review performance metrics, assumptions, and methodologies.
- Manage relationships with third‑party administrators, custodians, auditors, and other service providers.
- Oversee financial reporting, audit processes, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks are maintained and continuously improved.
Application Criteria
- A qualified chartered accountant.
- Extensive experience in fund operations within infrastructure, private markets, private equity, or real assets.
- Strong technical expertise across fund structures, valuations, tax structuring, and global operational frameworks.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally within a large asset manager or institutional investment environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across global teams.
- Highly organised, strategic, and solutions‑oriented, with a track record of driving operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments across key jurisdictions.
Rate
The rate on offer is up to £550 per day, along with a project completion bonus payable upon successful completion of the assignment.
