Equifind is delighted to be partnering with a leading real estate investment manager to appoint a Fund Controller on a 14‑month contract.
A highly respected real estate investment management firm based in Central London, specialising in the acquisition, development and management of high‑quality residential assets across the UK.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of fund accounting activities, oversee third‑party administrators across multiple jurisdictions, liaise with tax advisers, review financial models, and support wider corporate accounting processes. This is a broad, hands‑on role with significant visibility across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Finance Manager for commercial funds
- Oversee accounting and corporate administration of SPVs within fund structures
- Support quarterly investor reporting and implement processes to track key data and deadlines
- Assist with preparation of year‑end accounts
- Liaise with external accounting providers, auditors and tax advisers across relevant jurisdictions
- Coordinate with property accountants and review property‑level accounting entries (e.g., Yardi)
- Support corporate accounting and financial reporting activities
- Assist with the audit of UK statutory year‑end accounts
- Contribute to forecasting and cash‑flow planning
- Drive process improvements and optimise accounting workflows
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in management accounting or financial reporting, ideally within real estate funds
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across investors and external service providers
- Analytical, detail‑driven and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset
