Equifind are excited to have teamed up with an exciting brokerage firm in London, who need a commercially minded FP&A manager to join the firm after a period of exciting growth. We’re looking for a FP&A Manager, who ideally has a background in the brokerage space or from a fast‑paced financial services background. This is a very hands‑on role, that has elements of monthly reporting but also requires you to be very analytical & commercial in order to drive the FP&A function. You will be integral to the finance function and be the first line of support for the CFO.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own month-end close across multiple entities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain the general ledger, reconciliations, journals, and intercompany processes
  • Prepare consolidations for multiple entities in multi-currencies
  • Support the year-end statutory accounts production
  • Support with the annual audit
  • Build and maintain product-level profitability models
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including KPIs, variances, commentary and data visualisations
  • Lead financial planning cycles: budget, forecast, 3-year plan, rolling forecasts
  • Develop business-wide analytics to support pricing decisions and capital allocation
  • Support the CFO in shaping strategic discussions with senior leadership
  • Provide proactive insights into revenue trends, cost drivers, and growth opportunities
  • Identify and implement process improvements across finance, reporting and control frameworks
  • Support migration and enhancement of financial systems
  • Champion automation and data integrity to strengthen institutional-grade infrastructure
  • Ad hoc projects as requested by senior management

Experience & Qualifications

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years’ experience
  • A financial services background is a must, ideally from a brokerage
  • Strong background in FP&A and financial modelling
  • Experience of consolidations
  • Experience of Power BI/Tableau is a MUST
  • Be a self‑starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Be a team player

The atmosphere in the office is bustling, so you will be joining a business that is highly professional but full of energy. The business offers the usual broking services and products but is always looking at new ways to grow and diversify. Revenue is forecasted to double over the next five years, which illustrates the owners’ ambitions to be a major player in this market. You will work closely with the CFO, to drive the FP&A piece for the future and look at competitor analysis to assist with future decisions. The business likes new hires to be predominantly office based while they get up to speed for the first few months and then you will be in the office 3 days per week with remaining two at home.

Compensation
