Equifind has partnered with a boutique, fast-growth wealth management group to recruit a Finance & Operations Manager.
This newly created role is based in their London office near Mayfair and will require office attendance 3-4 days per week.
With £450m in assets under management and an ever-increasing client base, it's an exciting time to join as the business gears up for a busy period of transactions.
This will be the first dedicated finance hire, reporting directly to the Managing Partner, who is keen to nurture and develop this individual.
It's a great role for someone with a finance background who wants greater visibility across the business and wishes to take part in more commercial and strategic operations.
- Key duties include
- Take ownership of the monthly close process for all group entities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports including balance sheet maintenance.
- Preparation of annual budgets for the group and individual entities.
- Manage all compliance reporting including KYC and AML checks
- Key point of contact for annual key elements of external financial audits across the group.
- Contributing to the improvement and development of financial controls, processes, and reporting.
- Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely management information.
- Assisting with the migration of data from legacy accounting systems to the group’s accounting software.
- Key requirements
- ACA/CA qualified accountant.
- A minimum of 3 years experience, either within a similar business or an accounting practice.
- Advanced-level Excel skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements.
- Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills.
