Equifind is partnering with a leading global financial services firm to hire a Benefits Advisor to lead benefits administration across the EMEA region, with a supporting hand in monthly payroll coordination. This is a benefits-first role, ideal for someone who wants to own the full benefits lifecycle across multiple markets, not just administer it in one country, while staying close enough to payroll to understand how the two connect.
Why This Role
Most benefits roles are single-country and largely administrative. This one gives you ownership across the entire EMEA population - enrolments, pensions, vendor relationships, compliance and employee education with genuine scope to shape how benefits are delivered, not just process what lands on your desk. You'll also stay connected to payroll, which is what makes this a stronger, more rounded role than a pure benefits function: you'll understand the downstream impact of your decisions rather than working in a silo.
You’ll be joining a stable, well-resourced HR team at a leading global financial services firm, with real trust placed in your judgement on escalations, data integrity and process improvement from day one.
What You'll Do:
Benefits (core focus)
- Own day-to-day benefits administration across EMEA markets - enrolments, changes, terminations and everything in between
- Manage monthly pension assessments and contributions, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements
- Lead open enrolment end-to-end, including benefits communications and employee education sessions
- Act as the primary point of contact for associate questions on benefits and pensions -translating complex plan details into clear, practical guidance
- Manage vendor relationships and hold providers accountable for service delivery
- Drive compliance work, including audit prep and tax reporting (e.g. P11D)
- Own reconciliation and data validation across benefits records, and spot opportunities to improve processes and tools
Payroll (supporting)
- Coordinate monthly payroll across EMEA, validating inputs for external payroll providers
- Audit payroll data in Excel to catch and resolve discrepancies before they become problems
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years focused primarily on benefits administration (with payroll coordination exposure), ideally across UK or EMEA populations in a professional services environment (financial services, law, or consultancy)
- Strong working knowledge of benefits and pension administration; solid enough understanding of payroll cycles to coordinate with providers confidently
- Excellent Excel skills and sharp attention to detail, plus comfort using AI tools like Copilot to work more efficiently
- A genuine ability to explain benefits concepts clearly to people who aren't HR specialists - this role is as much about communication as administration
- Comfortable handling sensitive employee queries with discretion and judgement
- Vendor management experience is a strong plus, as is exposure to Workday or similar HR systems
What You’ll Get:
- True hybrid working - 3 days in the London office
