Equifind have teamed up with a great fintech firm, who are in search of an accounts payable lead, to join the business. We need someone who has a track record of leading the accounts payable function in addition to revamping the entire AP function in a business.
Key deliverables:
- Take full ownership of the AP function and management of the team for the group.
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders across the business to ensure strong relationships are maintained.
- Manage the internal approvals and monitor the spend vs budget, working closely with the Financial Controller.
- Monitor the central finance inboxes, ensuring all invoices are actioned in a timely manner, and revenue statements are forwarded to the relevant members of the team.
- Be a key contact for liaising with administrators on processing payments and ensuring weekly payment run deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Review and reconciliation of invoice discrepancies.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of invoicing to the Group's funds.
- Ensure that recharges to the Group's funds are actioned and invoiced accurately and on time.
- Monitor the aged debt and ensure the timely payment of invoices.
- Assist the treasury team to reconcile fee calculations, and other requirements to support the month end close.
- Assist the wider finance team with all audit and non-audit queries.
- Enhance the accounts payable processes and controls to ensure a robust financial framework for the future.

Experience & Qualifications:
- A proven AP track record with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
- Experience of working within fintech or software development.
- Working knowledge of multiple accounting systems, ideally NetSuite.
- Experience of the AR function is beneficial.
- Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner.
