Equifind is seeking a Fund Controller to join a successful and expanding real estate fund located in the West End of London, by Green Park. This UK and European-focused investor manages assets exceeding $5 billion and has developed over 45 million square feet of real estate. The firm has backing from a highly reputable investor. With a robust pipeline of upcoming transactions, this position is ideal for a fund finance professional eager to oversee a diverse portfolio of active investments and new acquisitions.

The role:

  • Manage small team of outsourced accountants
  • Oversight of investor reporting, presentations and Fund analysis
  • Management of statutory, tax and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Liaise with investors and executives on specific fund performance matters
  • Ongoing cashflow monitoring and management including co-ordination and review of service providers
  • Internal reporting of performance metrics and input of financial elements into JV partner reports
  • Responsible for the setup of new entities and structures as required
  • Supporting the Investment team in deal process

What do I need to apply?

  • A qualified accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA preferred)
  • At least 5-10 years PQE experience wise of working within a European real estate fund
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights
  • Proficient in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Experience in managing internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance activities
