Equifind are supporting a U&I–focused investor and developer of real estate assets. Their portfolio spans shopping and leisure centres, data centres, logistics assets and more.
The business is in the process of closing several new deals, which has driven the need for additional reporting, operational support and stronger financial analysis. As a result, they\’re looking to hire an Fund Accountant to support the next phase of growth.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering propco reporting across multiple investments, as well as involvement in the group holding-company finances. The business is still relatively young and very much in growth mode, so a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset is essential. You\’ll work closely with the wider business — from the investment and asset management teams through to the Partners and investors.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including cash flow forecasting and analysis.
Financial control across group, property and holding companies, working closely with external service providers and property managers.
Revenue, cost and tenant arrears management.
Oversight of loan administration, including loan schedules, interest payments and covenant reporting.
Ownership of Yardi, including onboarding new mandates and ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Project and investment accounting support as required.
Preparation of annual statutory accounts across group entities.
Support on wider corporate finance matters, including VAT, corporation tax, audit and treasury.
Ongoing improvement of financial controls, systems and processes to support growth.
Application Requirements Qualified chartered accountant
Prior experience in a financial or fund reporting role.
Experience of working within a similar real estate investment group.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, dynamic, and global environment.
Strategic mindset with strong critical‐thinking and decision‐making capability.
