Equifind are working with a hugely exciting and impressive early stage real estate investment platform based in the West End to find a Fund Accountant for the team. They operate within the value add and opportunistic strategies with varies across credit, equities and direct real estate investments across the UK & Europe. They have a very strong track record with 6 funds under their arm (including legacy), and are currently in process of fundraising for the 7th fund with a first close of $350m. They have plans to further expand into different streams, as well as launching a US division further down the line! It’s a great role reporting directly into the Finance Director covering all things from dealing with outsourced administrators, preparing full sets of fund accounts for review, investor reporting and more.
What will you be doing?
- Fund Accounting: Review of quarterly and annual accounts for various funds, including deal specific and carry entities
- Preparation of quarterly investor reporting for the funds
- Liaising with the deal team to facilitate the deal process including funding, legal and FX considerations
- Regular cash management duties
- Preparation and review of drawdowns and distribution notices
- Preparation and review of carry waterfall workings and management fee calculations
- Investor queries
- Preparation of monthly IRRs for the portfolio, funds and investors
- Liaising with the outsourced fund administrators
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of accounting data presented to investors
- Provide support on Ad hoc projects to help make the function ‘best-in-class’
