Senior Manager | Equifind | Finance & Accounting

Equifind is working with a highly exciting and impressive early-stage real estate investment platform based in the West End to find a Fund Accountant for the team.

The company operates within value-add and opportunistic strategies across credit, equities, and direct real estate investments throughout the UK & Europe. They have a strong track record with 6 funds under management (including legacy funds) and are currently fundraising for their 7th fund with a first close of $350m. Plans include expanding into new streams and launching a US division in the future.

This is a great role reporting directly to the Finance Director, involving responsibilities such as liaising with outsourced administrators, preparing comprehensive fund accounts, investor reporting, and more.

What will you be doing?

  • Review quarterly and annual accounts for various funds, including deal-specific and carry entities
  • Prepare quarterly investor reports for the funds
  • Liaise with the deal team to facilitate funding, legal, and FX considerations
  • Prepare and review drawdowns and distribution notices
  • Prepare and review carry waterfall calculations and management fee computations
  • Prepare monthly IRRs for portfolios, funds, and investors
  • Liaise with outsourced fund administrators
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of accounting data presented to investors
  • Support ad hoc projects to enhance the function’s excellence
