Equifind are working with a London-based private investment office that manages a broad portfolio across a range of sectors to recruit a Fractional CFO. Currently, the business lacks comprehensive visibility over the performance of its investments and is looking to bring in a senior finance professional to establish proper reporting and analytics.

They need someone to take a step back, look at how things are currently run, and build out a clear track record model from scratch. This means breaking down portfolio performance, setting the right metrics, and pulling together data in a way that’s clean, consistent, and easy to report on going forward.

You’d need to get under the bonnet of each investment, figure out what data’s available (and what’s missing), and create a framework that ties it all together. The initial project will require a few days a week for the first couple of months (depending on scope), with a view to moving into a longer-term fractional setup once the model is in place. That ongoing piece would include running the reporting, supporting with any new transactions, and acting as a general CFO sounding board to the Principals.

What they’re looking for:

  • Qualified accountant.
  • Currently a senior finance professional operating at a FD or CFO level.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience working with family offices or across investment portfolios is ideal.
  • Strong on modelling and commercial reporting.
  • This would suit someone already working on a fractional basis, or someone specifically looking for part-time opportunities going forward.

Please note: applications will be reviewed w/c 23rd June.
