Equifind are working with an exciting boutique family office/private equity/service provider based in the West End to seek a Finance Manager to join the team. With a strong track record of growth in recent years, they are now diversifying operations through portfolio companies and 3rd party work via investments. It’s a great time to join as revenues are at an all-time high, and the business is hiring across the board.
The finance team consists of a CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Manager, and two juniors. The work you will be doing will cover:
- Financial control
- Regulatory requirements
- Budgeting & forecasting
All to be reported to the board.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and analyse monthly management accounts prepared by outsourced provider
- Working with departments to collect and consolidate data required for financial reporting, ensuring timely submissions
- Preparing fund recharges, including cost allocations and accurate recharges for different business units, funds, or departments
- Daily bank review, analysing movement of funds across accounts and entities
- Management of accounts payable mailbox, keeping flow and ensuring smooth transition through to outsourced providers
- Ownership of management and incentive fee receipts
- Assist on group regulatory requirements including FCA returns
- Assist the Financial Controller and COO with wider projects, including the implementation of a bespoke FP&A system for department reports
- FP&A system to provide budgets for daily/weekly and monthly spend (actual vs forecast)

- ACCA/CIMA or ACA qualified
- Financial services experience, or a strong desire to enter financial services
