Equifind is supporting a global private equity investor with the hire of a Financial Accountant for their London office, based in the City. The team works from the office Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays. The firm manages several billion dollars of assets and is preparing to launch its latest, and what will be their largest, fund to date. This role would suit a recently qualified accountant making their first move into industry, looking for a broad and varied position with a clear path for progression and development. Given the level of external support, the role is weighted towards oversight, stakeholder management, and planning activities rather than routine processing. Thereโs also good crossover with fund finance and operations, giving the role wide exposure and the opportunity to get involved in ad-hoc projects, analysis and financial support across the business. Key Deliverables: Oversee the year-end process, including the review of consolidated statutory accounts Act as the main point of contact for auditors, ensuring year-end audits run smoothly and to timetable Manage the tax reporting cycles across the management entities Review regulatory reporting prepared by external accountants and ensure all filings are submitted on time Work closely with external tax advisers to keep information flowing efficiently and deadlines clear Review monthly management reporting produced by outsourced providers Take an active role in improving processes and driving operational efficiencies Oversee treasury activities, including cashflow forecasting Plan, manage and monitor the budgeting and forecasting cycle Experience
