Equifind has partnered with a scale‑up fintech company that is transforming how consumers think about money, saving, and investing. This innovative business is looking to appoint a Finance Director to support its expansion into Europe. Following a successful Series B and backed by prominent VC investors, the company is positioned for significant growth, both organically and through new product launches and market expansion.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this is a high‑impact role that will be instrumental in shaping the company’s future and driving its ambitious growth journey. The ideal candidate will gain exposure to all areas of the business and play a critical role in supporting key commercial and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and board reports.
- Assist the SLT with goal setting and strategic planning from both financial and commercial perspectives.
- Present clear and concise management information to the Board and key investors, providing actionable insights for the group.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, adjusting liquidity models as necessary.
- Manage the Groups regulatory reporting obligations with the FCA.
- Lead various cross‑departmental projects, including supporting new product launches and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant, preferably trained in audit.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise with up‑to‑date knowledge of FCA reporting.
- Experience leading a business through a Series C (or later) funding round would be advantageous.
- Experience in team management, including recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
- Background in financial services, preferably in banking or consumer finance.
- Candidates are required to be office‑based 4 days per week.
