Finance Director
Equifind is partnering with a tech-driven company that is redefining the playbook for training, developing, and recruiting talent. This innovative startup is looking to appoint its first Finance Director to join its London team, based near Liverpool Street.
Following a successful fundraising round and backed by prominent VC and Angel investors, the company is positioned for significant growth—both organically and through the launch of new products and expansion into new markets.
Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, this high-impact role will be key in shaping the company’s future and driving its powerful growth journey. The ideal candidate will gain exposure to all areas of the business and play a critical role in supporting key commercial and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and board reports.
- Assist the SLT with goal setting and strategic planning from both financial and commercial perspectives.
- Present clear and concise management information to the Board and key investors, providing actionable insights for the group.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, adjusting liquidity models as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements, staying up-to-date with reporting standards.
- Lead various cross-departmental projects, including supporting new product launches and other strategic initiatives.

Application requirements:
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise with up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards.
- Experience in team management, including recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
- Background in technology, B2B, or professional services is highly advantageous.
