Equifind are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a London-based private credit firm that manages funds for institutional investors and sophisticated family offices around the world.
We are recruiting for a Private Credit Analyst to join the team, working directly for the Head of Business Development.
About the Role
This role cooperates closely with senior members of the underwriting and origination team as well as Senior Managers to execute on private credit transactions.
Assist underwriting and execution of private credit transactions and monitoring portfolio of existing transactions
Research and analyse investment opportunities by conducting due diligence, including review of business strategy, management team, competitive analysis, product/market strategy, market share analysis, margins, and building/evaluation of financial models to include projections of income statement, cash flows, balance sheet, etc. to stress test scenarios and debt servicing ability
Produce internal credit memos and analysis and present findings to senior team members and the Credit Investment Committee
Build relationships within the Private Credit ecosystem including lawyers, lenders and brokers
Perform a variety of tasks, including many opportunities to ‘step-up’, given the small team and flat hierarchical structure
Stay well-informed of market trends and activity within the private credit and equity markets
About you
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with investment banks, consulting firms, corporate, private debt firms and other alternative asset managers
Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent qualification
Relationship-building skills and ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external
Ability to produce high quality work under pressure and tight deadlines
Entrepreneurial mind-set in evaluating new investment opportunities
Ability to take ownership with significant exposure to corporate clients and investors
Package on offer
Base salary £60,000 plus 20% Bonus, Private Health Care, Contributory Pension, 25 days Annual Leave. 4 days in the office in the West End, 1 day Working from home.
