Equifind have teamed up with a leading European & US asset manager who are looking to expand their internal tax team after a strong period of growth. You’ll be reporting into the Head of Tax, and have the ambition to help scale the tax team with further hires down the line.

After merging in 2024 they are now continuously launching new funds, expanding across Europe and closing funds globally – with even more in the pipeline! You’ll be crucial towards the setting up of fund launches, deal origination and compliance work across the business.

  • Assist with assessing the impacts of actual and proposed legislative tax changes in the UK and overseas, and other managed structures.
  • Assist with supporting investment globally with tax due diligence processes, as well as the implementation of holding and financing structures.
  • Assist with the integration of new investments and investment structures, including establishing tax processes as needed.
  • Assist with tax considerations relevant to post-investment restructuring activities.
  • Draft board reports highlighting key tax matters and developments in the UK and overseas and the tax sections of Investment Committee papers covering prospective investments, divestments and corporate restructuring activities.
  • Take responsibility for monitoring UK and overseas compliance requirements and support with monitoring activities for other managed funds, across direct, indirect, operational, and other taxes (including liaising with and coordinating outsourced service providers).
  • Ensure appropriate tax policies and procedures and internal controls are implemented, documented and maintained, including portfolio entities.
  • Take ownership for maintaining transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring documentation is prepared in accordance with local legislative requirements through liaison with local service providers and advisors.
  • Support with transfer pricing analyses and compliance.
