Equifind are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Permanent Management Accountant working for this West End based Wealth Management firm. This is a great growth opportunity for anybody looking to develop their finance career further and join a diverse team. Already experiencing both growth and success, the Wealth Management company represents a collaborative environment for an accountant who can bring their own personal touch. Directly reporting into the Finance Director, they are seeking somebody for this unique opportunity that can firmly assist the business and continue their growth internally.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of the management accounts for the group.
- Responsible for preparing the month‑end prepayments and accruals.
- Manage quarterly period close procedures including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produce year‑end audit files for subsidiaries and be a point of contact for any queries.
- Review and authorise AP invoices for posting and validity for designated entities across the group.
- Help integrate the new software with the back office and accounting systems to a new consolidated platform.
- Support other ongoing specialist projects across the business as and when required.
Experience & Qualifications
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- 3+ years of experience working in a finance function.
- VAT, accounts payable and receivable knowledge.
- Some previous knowledge of working on bank reconciliations.
- An organised individual who is keen to learn, has high attention to detail and the ability to build meaningful analysis.
- Enjoy working with numbers and large data sets with at least an intermediate skill set level with MS Excel.
- Ability to self‑prioritise and manage workload.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Compensation
- Salary: £50,000 PA - £60,000 PA.
- Hybrid work pattern.
- Full study support for the ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
