An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Billing Manager to join a fast-growing and innovative technology company based in London. This is a high-profile contract role offering the chance to work within a dynamic, technology-driven environment where your expertise will have a direct impact on business performance and customer experience. With major transformation projects underway, this is an initial 6-month contract with the strong potential to extend up to 12 months.

The Role

As Billing Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end billing function, ensuring operational excellence, billing accuracy, and an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with teams to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and support ongoing system and business enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily billing operations across telecoms products and services
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing within a high-volume environment
  • Lead investigations and resolution of billing discrepancies and escalations
  • Drive continuous improvement across billing processes and controls
  • Support billing system upgrades, migrations, and testing activities
  • Deliver reporting, reconciliations, and KPI analysis to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and regulatory standards

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Billing Manager or senior billing leadership role
  • Telecommunications, software development or technology industry experience
  • Strong understanding of telecoms billing systems and processes
  • Experience working within complex, fast-paced operational environments
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to quickly adapt, problem-solve, and deliver under pressure
