Equifind is supporting a leading national charity with the hire of a Bid Manager. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Partnerships, the role is responsible for managing and delivering high-quality bids, tenders and funding proposals that secure income and support the growth of the charitable aims across the country.
You'll work closely with operational leaders, finance teams and external partners to develop compelling, compliant and commercially robust submissions. This is a high-profile role with significant stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to influence strategic growth initiatives.
Key duties include:
- Lead the end-to-end management of tenders, funding bids and commercial proposals, building relationships with funders and strategic partners.
- Manage bid qualification, planning, risk assessment and submission activities, ensuring proposals are compliant, persuasive and delivered to tight deadlines.
- Coordinate cross-functional bid teams to develop winning solutions and value propositions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities to support commercial discussions, pricing development and contract negotiations.
Application criteria:
- Proven experience managing successful tenders, bids or funding applications.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong proposal writing, editing and communication abilities.
- Experience within the charity, public sector, health, welfare or related sectors would be advantageous.
