Equifind have partnered with a global asset management company to assist them with their search for a Group Finance Manager to join the London team, based by Bond Street, London. Four days in the office, 9-6 hours as standard. You will be part of a small team, reporting to the Financial Controller (VP level) and you will manage the outsource bookkeepers. This is an important role as the business continues to expand.

This is a hybrid opportunity, where you will be required to be in the London office four days per week to integrate with the wider finance team to gain a strong understanding of the financial reporting for the group. We will be looking for someone who loves to interact with others and has a proven track record in managing the financial reporting for a group.

The Role

Key duties and responsibilities for this Group Finance Manager include but aren't limited to:

  • Financial Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results for corporate entities, prepared by the external outsource providers
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close procedures for purposes of corporate group management reporting
  • Delivery of variance analysis and key trends
  • Prepare updates on financial results and risks for senior management and Group corporate finance
  • Support and contribute to the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts for senior management and Group corporate finance; encompassing management fee revenue, personnel and other costs and investment income
  • Ensuring that financial results, commentary and supporting analysis are accurate, insightful and aligned with business expectations
  • Prepare quarterly financial presentation decks with an emphasis on performance trends, cost allocation impacts, headcount movements and budget tracking
  • Report on ongoing process improvements, control remediations, or audit issues
  • Financial Controls & Governance
  • Operate key financial controls, including management fee calculations and accrual reviews in collaboration with fund finance function
  • Balance sheet ownership and reconciliation, including cash, intercompany and accruals
  • Cashflow management, Fund recharges, accounts payable and employee expenses
  • Involvement in the overall statutory audit process for all corporate entities
  • Ensure the internal control framework across finance operations is in line with Groups Financial Control Framework
  • Data, Systems & Process Improvement
  • Contribute to the automation of financial workflows, dashboarding and data visualisation across the Finance Team
  • Ensure high-quality data is delivered to the Group corporate finance team for inclusion in consolidated reporting
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy and control robustness

Experience & Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5 years PQE+
  • Experience within Asset management highly desirable
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong communication

Compensation

Base pay is approximately £90k. Discretionary annual bonus - approximately 25%. Full host of generous benefits.
