Equifind is partnering with one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs to hire a Tax Projects Manager for their City of London office. Backed by top-tier VCs and prominent angel investors, this high-growth business is reshaping financial security and personal investment through cutting-edge AI and algorithmic innovation. With rapid expansion across the UK and North America, the company is scaling quickly and facing increasing tax complexity.

This newly created role offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate a broad range of tax initiatives, spanning both direct and indirect tax, working closely with the CFO and external advisors. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver key tax projects across the UK and North America operations, including:
  • Negotiating a bespoke VAT reporting arrangement with HMRC
  • Implementing R&D tax credit claims from the ground up.
  • Managing transfer pricing analysis and documentation across entities.
  • Leading international and mobile employee tax planning and compliance.
  • Project manage UK and US corporation tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Oversee multi-jurisdictional US tax compliance, coordinating filings across several state and city-level tax authorities.
  • Act as the internal point person for tax-related initiatives, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Drive process improvements and help develop internal systems to better manage and track tax obligations.
  • Ensure tax risks are identified early and managed effectively throughout project lifecycles.
