Equifind are partnering with a fast growing, FX Broker based in Canary Wharf, who are looking to hire an FX Settlements Specialist. Situated in the biggest financial district of London, this FX focussed firm provides both opportunities and growth to further your career. After a run of record-breaking years, the organisation is now looking to grow by number of employees in 2026, making it a very exciting time to join the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the sales team and clients to resolve trade and settlement queries.
  • Confirm and upload new beneficiary bank details, following our internal procedures.
  • Set up multi-currency payments across a variety of providers.
  • Action FX swap drawdowns and rollovers when requested.
  • Allocate incoming client funds in a timely manner.
  • Log FX trades onto our internal systems before close of business each day.
  • Ensure transaction data is recorded correctly across internal systems.
  • Identify and escalate any issues or queries, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with team members, whilst sharing ideas and feedback in a drive to better themselves and the team.
  • Create reports for both internal and external use.
  • Submit payments up to a value of £500K.
  • Investigate any issues or queries and escalate where necessary.
  • Assist in the testing and implementation of new systems/system updates.

Application Criteria:

  • Anything up-to 3+ Years experience within financial services (FX Broker or Payments).
  • Experienced in Settlements and Payments is mandatory, specifically in Foreign Exchange.
  • Strong Maths skills.
  • Methodical with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident communicating to clients both over the phone and on E-Mail.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently whilst also working well within the team.
  • Confident using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint...)
  • Must have the ability to adapt to new challenges and thrive outside of their comfort zone whilst also remaining calm and focused.
  • Must be diligent, proactive, and committed.
  • Have an ambition or real desire to pursue a career in Settlements and Middle Office Operations/Trade Support.
  • Exposure to multi-currencies is a plus.

Compensation:

This FX Settlements Specialist role based in Canary Wharf will be paid a competitive market based salary of between £30,000 - £42,000 PA. Discretionary quarterly bonus, subsidised gym membership, employer pension contribution, 25-days annual leave.
