Equifind are representing a boutique FMCG firm based in Welwyn Garden City who are looking to hire a Bookkeeper.
You will be directly reporting into the Owner and carrying-out the financial management of the company.
Key responsibilities include: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping (Excel) and multi-currency bank account reconciliation Oversee accounts payable (liaising with suppliers and our workshops), and sales invoices Prepare cash flow statements, monthly profit and loss statements, and other reports as requested Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and management reports Maintain accounting records including invoices, expenses, payments, and petty cash Maintain compliance with standard legal, financial and data protection practise Manage export documentation and import documentation Manage Pension scheme Application criteria: Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent, or part-qualified with relevant experience) Experience in the FMCG industry helpful but not required.
Excellent Excel and data entry skills Knowledge of VAT Margin Scheme and VAT import and export regulations an asset Experience with both UK financial compliance Ideally experienced with 'Microsoft Navision' system C...
