Assistant Management Accountant

Equifind are representing a West End based, UK leading Private Equity firm who are looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant. Long term they see this as the ideal training ground for someone with 2-years+ experience, who would like to continue studying towards their ACCA/CIMA exams; and ultimately become a qualified accountant for the business. The Role: The key responsibilities for this permanent Assistant Management Accountant role for a West End based, UK leading Private Equity firm will be: Manage accounts payable invoices and payments. Processing corporate employee’s expenses through ‘Pleo’ (an expense management system). Monitoring the group cash position. Bank reconciliations. Month-end accounting, including updating quarter-end working papers. Posting month-end journals (fixed assets, depreciation, prepayments, accruals). VAT returns. Recharges. Processing monthly payroll. Monitoring and reconciliation of the intercompany balances. Assisting with audit process for year-end. Ad-hoc projects.
