As a Strategic Account Director, you will act as a trusted advisor and consultative partner to our most critical clients. By immersing yourself in their business and anticipating their needs, you will design and deliver strategic Equifax solutions that directly address their challenges. You will champion the Equifax brand, influence internal product development, and drive multi-year, high-value deals that demonstrate a clear return on investment and advance our clients' commercial objectives.

What you’ll do

  • Formulate joint commercial goals and strategies with senior-level decision makers to drive revenue growth and exceed financial targets.
  • Lead multi-functional teams (including Delivery and Operations) to execute high-ROI solutions and oversee complex client projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for customer retention and new business acquisition, negotiating complex, high-value (£1m+) contracts.
  • Maintain Salesforce (SFDC) mastery as the single source of truth for all client engagement, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and strict adherence to Equifax Opportunity Hygiene Standards.
  • Analyze market, economic, regulatory, and technology trends to inform commercial strategies and influence Equifax's internal product development roadmap.
  • Provide people leadership and continuous team development to maximize commercial performance across multiple lines of business.

What experience you need

  • Proven track record as a large strategic account manager leading complex, high-value (£1m+) customer relationships in the Telco sector.
  • Direct experience managing an account within the top 20 of a company’s portfolio across multiple lines of business.
  • Demonstrated ability managing a team to successfully deliver multi-year sales in excess of £250,000.
  • Experience selling and leading enterprise consultancy projects with long, complex sales cycles and pricing negotiations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer, Commercial, and Marketing data ecosystems.
  • Track record of successfully presenting to, and negotiating with, senior-level executives and decision makers.
  • Relevant university degree pass or equivalent educational qualification.
