As a Senior Salesforce Administrator your role is central to the maintenance and customisation of Equifax's customer and consumer service platforms within the UK. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for supporting the business users and helping maintain high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, challenging environment supporting the client and consumer interfaces within Equifax’s Salesforce platform. You will align and support our developers and deploy complex functional solutions. You will act as the bridge between our stakeholders and technical execution, ensuring that our Salesforce organisation is scalable, efficient, and highly adopted by our UK teams.
What You'll Do
- Act as a senior system administrator across Equifax Ltd (UK) Salesforce platforms, with ownership of BAU tasks and complex support requests.
- Lead the configuration and maintenance of the Salesforce environment, including complex Flow automation, custom objects, and advanced security settings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Service) to identify pain points and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design, build, optimise and debug Flows, orchestrations and automation frameworks.
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, and deduplication efforts. Support high standards for data quality and system documentation.
- Support the release management process using CI CD and DevOps tools and align with developers to ensure contention is managed and ensure sandboxes remain aligned with production.
- Perform regular platform health checks and maintenance cycles across all UK orgs.
- Support the business with housekeeping of data to ensure GDPR compliance.
- Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Salesforce, including sandbox management, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment via DevOps tools.
- Actively contribute to continually improving governance, testing and change control processes.
- Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor for junior admins and provide high-tier support for end-users.
- Support and maintenance of customised solutions on the Salesforce platform, supporting critical business functions and project goals.
- Daily support of end users and BAU enhancements.
- Working closely with the Salesforce Delivery Manager, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects and Developers to design high quality solutions and ensure business benefit.
- Ensuring a proactive and flexible work environment is maintained to facilitate agility in responding to changing project goals and customer requirements.
- Work directly with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts as necessary to support their requirements and advise of Salesforce best practice.
- Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing solutions following a best practice application lifecycle management process.
What Experience You Need
- Strong, current experience in Salesforce Administration, preferably in a high-growth or enterprise environment.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.
- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Flow (Process Builder/Workflow migration experience preferred).
- Proficiency in building advanced reports, dashboards, and using CRM Analytics.
- A proven track record of solving complex business problems through declarative (non-code) solutions first.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An excellent understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Declarative design and build of custom Salesforce Lightning applications.
- Salesforce API configuration, REST, SOAP, BULK API.
- Data Loader / Salesforce Inspector.
- Proven experience in a Senior Admin or advanced second-line Salesforce role.
- Comfortable taking ownership of complex BAU issues and leading technical resolution.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams with Jira/Confluence.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
